The magic of Diamond Dave must be experienced first-hand to be understood. It's like going into outer space - if you haven't been there, you just won't get it. I can say now that I've been to the moon and back, and the moon calls himself Dave. Words fail to adequately describe the level of awesome he brings to a party, but I'll try: Imagine if Frank Sinatra and Usher had a baby. Oh yeah, he's that smooth. He sings, he raps, there's a light show and an assortment of hats involved, and I'm pretty sure he's the reason the sun rises the next morning. How hard does he bring the party? Remember that scene in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark where they look into the ark and it melts their faces? Diamond Dave calls that a slow night. Although my bride is extremely beautiful, there were several times during the night that I found myself wistfully looking at Dave and wishing I'd married him instead. I was not the only straight man that night that felt that way. Having a wedding? Without Dave, a wedding is just a boring church service followed by bad dancing, awkward speeches, and a lukewarm buffet. Diamond Dave was the DJ at our wedding on September 8, 2012. Let me start by saying this: we already knew how great Diamond Dave was after seeing him at Petar’s and a few other places. In fact, we changed the date we were planning on having our wedding to accommodate a weekend he wasn’t booked. It was SO worth it. My vision of our wedding was to have everyone up and dancing. Diamond Dave made sure that happened. His setup is amazing. It rides a perfect line between club atmospheres and appropriate for Grandma to dance to. He has all the professional lights and the sound quality is amazing. Then there’s Diamond Dave himself. Everyone was so impressed that it was actually him singing. No one believed it at first. This is especially true since he can do everything from Frank Sinatra to Baby Got Back. Everyone loved all of his costumes; we even had some of our guests and our photographer wearing them as well. Our caterers and wait staff were even taking pictures and videos of Diamond Dave (and you know they see a lot of DJs). We could not have asked for a better DJ and had the time of our lives at our wedding. I think we can sum it up by saying we were the last ones to leave the dance floor, and that was only because we had to be out of our reception venue. We made sure Dave was available before picking our wedding date, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Everyone is still talking about how awesome the music was.
